- Partner with HR leadership to develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with the company's objectives and values.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including payroll, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Manage HRIS data entry and maintenance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of employee records.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with the development and implementation of training and development programs to support employee growth and professional development.
- Conduct regular HR audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the California team.
- Assist in the front desk administrative side and take the initiative to help with front shipping and packaging as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a Generalist role.
- Knowledge of California HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Dayforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven HR People and Culture Generalist to join our HR team in Santa Monica, CA. This role is ideal for someone outgoing, proactive, and deeply committed to shaping a positive and innovative workplace environment. Reporting directly to the Director of HR, the People and Culture Generalist will play a pivotal role in implementing HR strategies, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and driving organizational growth.
