THE OPPORTUNITY


The
Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the onboarding and offboarding of employees and will be the lead team member for leaves of absence and external data reporting.

As a member of the Human Resources Team, the
Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the maintenance of personnel files and employee records, the execution of company policies/practices/protocols, and any relevant cross-training.

This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. This position is on a hybrid schedule, and a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies' HQ in the heart of vibrant
West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for preparing and executing new employee orientation/onboarding, offboarding/exiting.
  • Participate in the compliant maintenance of personnel files and update employee databases.
  • Responsible for external data reporting. Generate custom reports and data analysis as requested and report on HR metrics.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, supervisors, department leaders, and HR team members to create partnerships that yield success and cohesion.
  • Work closely with payroll to coordinate relevant employee information.
  • Stay informed of best practices and market trends in human resources and federal/state labor laws.
  • Prepare and amend HR documents as necessary.
  • Participate in HR projects, events, and activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of solid experience in human resources with handson experience in the areas of responsibility noted.
  • Solid experience with leaves of absence and employee onboarding/offboarding.
  • Handson experience in human resources, including employee experience and people operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently problemsolve with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to represent the company in a polished, professional, and articulate manner, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Understanding and commitment to customer service with a high emphasis on professionalism and a positive, userfriendly attitude.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and exercise solid judgment.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a strong initiative toward resourcefulness.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and other employees and leadership to collaborate in a fastpaced environment.
  • Have a strong desire to lead and participate in creating a communicative, professional, and positive work environment.
  • Experience with Paylocity and Ease
