PURPOSE


Performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, employee relations, employment and training.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Conducts new hire orientation.
  • Performs benefit administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Conducts benefits orientation to employees.
  • Facilitates and/or provides training to the workforce.
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Including investigations and recommendations.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Represents the company for unemployment claims.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. _
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from fouryear college or university preferred, or related experience.
  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • Spanish bilingual preferred. written and verbal.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • Travel between locations 90% of the time.
  • Support 16 locations. Bakersfield, Ventura, and Los Angeles area.

$75, $80,000.00 per year
