- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Provide support to managers in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
- Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans as needed.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and processing necessary paperwork.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and interview questions.
- Coordinate background checks and employment verifications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of affirmative action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
