    THE POSITION

The Governor's Office of Administration is looking for a Network Administrator to join our Enterprise Technology Services Office.

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    You will excel in this position if you like a fast-paced work environment, prioritize security and compliance, and want to strategically develop solutions to complex IT issues.

    This position works alongside the Division of Network, Unified Telecom, and Security Operations Service Delivery Section Chief to provide advisement, direction, design, implementation, and management of Commonwealth network, unified telecom, and security operations supporting both agency and external customers.

    Your role will be to ensure that Commonwealth's network, unified telecom, and security operations technologies use aligns to the vision, strategy, and roadmap established by the Commonwealth's executive leadership and that the provided solutions meet agreed upon agency and external customer requirements and service levels.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:
    Full-time employment
    Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

    Telework:
    You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

    Salary:
    In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
    Six years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance involving installing, updating, and maintaining inter-network systems and managing information technology projects;

    or
    One year of experience as a Network Administrator 1, Telecommunications Administrator, or Radio Telecommunications Supervisor;

    or
    Four years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance involving installing, updating, and maintaining inter-network systems and managing information technology projects, and an associate's degree in any information technology field;

    or

    An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance involving installing, updating, and maintaining inter-network systems and managing information technology projects.
