THE POSITION:
Are you an ambitious, detail-oriented information technology professional who would enjoy working in a supportive team environment to provide support with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)? If so, this is the opportunity you've been looking for The Office of Administration is seeking a Network Specialist 2 to provide automated support and promote consistent efficiency for desktop support staff.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Within this technical role, you will conduct duties for the Employment, Banking and Revenue (EBR) Technical Services Office Systems Management area, which is responsible for the centralized support, design, acquisition, installation, integration, operation, maintenance, and administration of desktop technology infrastructure. This position is largely centered around workstation configuration management, multifunction/print, antivirus and systems management administration. You will administer clientside OS installations, configurations, and support for both Windows and nonWindows client operating systems and act as a lead technician for the EBR's desktop OS imaging software platform.
- As a Network Specialist 2, you will support all EBR agencies and offices including the Department of Banking and Securities, Pennsylvania Insurance Department, Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Revenue, Department of State, EBR IT, and EBR HR.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
- Friday, with a 30minute lunch.
Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Network Specialist 1;_ _
or: - Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field;
or: - Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance;
or: - An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance.
