THE POSITION:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The position involves offering expert veterinary services in regulatory medicine for thoroughbred and/or standardbred racetracks, overseeing the Bleeder Medication Program and test barn operations.
You will also be responsible for implementing Bureau of Animal Health and Diagnostic Services initiatives and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in the designated PDA region to monitor and manage animal diseases.

- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
- Friday, with a 30minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of farm animal and/or poultry practice experience as a USDA accredited veterinarian.
Special Requirement:
- Possession of a license to practice veterinary medicine as issued by a state board of veterinary medical examiners.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived
for this title. - You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Post Employment Requirement:
- A Commission Employee License is required for this position or will be obtained once hired.
