    Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy & Transformation – United States

    Job Description

    • Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses leveraging frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies and develop robust recommendations to support Group Executive, segment Operating Committees, and lines of business, with a focus on RBC's United States business lines
    • Ensure growth strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities, and proactively identify benefits such as revenue streams or cost savings opportunities
    • Support the annual enterprise strategic development process, business portfolio review, and related senior leader off sites/events to advance RBC's strategy
    • Produce materials for Enterprise Strategy Office, Group Executive Committee and Board, and US Board for review, discussion, and decision
    • Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, strategists, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
    • Manage work streams and present engagement deliverables, raising risks / issues and providing solutions to minimize impact on timelines

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

    • 3+ years of experience in roles such as Corporate Strategy (in Financial Services or FinTech), Management Consulting, or Investment Banking
    • Intellectual curiosity, robust problem solving, and quantitative data analysis skills
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
    • Demonstrated ability in project execution, prioritization and timeline management
    • Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence; strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
    • Strong academic record

    Nice-to-have

    • MBA, or equivalent degree
    • Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models
    • Minimum two years of top-tier management consulting experience, with an emphasis on business strategy

    The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 to $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.

    Job Summary

    ES&T, RBC's cross-enterprise internal consulting and corporate strategy team, is organized under the RBC Chief Administrative & Strategy Officer. The ES&T team serves as thought partners to senior executives, offering targeted support for the highest priority and most complex strategic problems, and helps to develop and articulate RBC's enterprise strategy and line of business strategies. The team also acts as a catalyst for enterprise transformation, cross-platform collaboration, and new capability development, and drives RBC's strategic agenda across the Board, CEO, and Group Executive level. ES&T offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment with unique exposure to distinct parts of bank. Working within a high-performance area of the bank, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to work on the bank's most ambitious initiatives.
