    Lead Desktop Support EngineerLocation : Onsite in Greenwich, CT or Norwalk, CT Duration : FTE/PermanentSalary:

    Total compensation is k +bonusThis role requires you to be on call including nights and weekendsResponsibilities :Provide desktop and mobile device support firm wide as the initial point of contactInstall and configure computer systems and applications, including onboarding new hiresAnalyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software problemsLiaison vendor support teamsPro-actively prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficientlyUtilize ticketing system for technical assistance requests, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involvedVendor and order managementCreate online documentation pertaining to computer and application troubleshooting and usageMaintain a working audit log detailing all system updates, as well as the date of completionProfessional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with employees and vendorsRequired:Bachelor's or Technical degree in computer science or a related fieldOver eight years of experience supporting employees and technology in a fast-moving environmentExtensive experience working with operating systems including Windows and Mac OSX, Linux is a plusKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Outlook, O365 is a big plusExperience with VDI (VMWare)

    Experience supporting mobile devices (Android and IOS)Experience supporting Trading Platforms (i.e.

    Bloomberg terminals)Preferred:
    White Glove supportCybersecurityWindows server managementDevOps or SecOPsPatch managementNetworkingTelephony
