Overview

Efficiently functioning IT systems ensure that operations at Amazon run at top speed at all times. Our IT Support Engineers work behind the scenes to solve problems and improve our systems, ensuring optimal operation of our business. Your focus is on ensuring that our IT infrastructure is able to meet the demands of our global business. At the same time, you will work with the latest technology and learn how we are developing the warehouse environment of the future at Dobbs Ferry.

Your main responsibilities

Supporting end-user devices and IT infrastructure at your Dobbs Ferry location
Assisting with major network projects, such as setting up IT facilities for new Amazon locations
Proposing new processes to improve the use of IT at Amazon logistics centers
Training and mentoring IT professionals

A typical day at work

You will work on-site and visit other operational locations in Germany and possibly internationally several times a month. As an IT Support Engineer, you will work remotely and in the office with colleagues to assist with any issues. You will use your expertise to ensure the optimal operation of our platforms and implement projects for maintenance or improvement of our IT infrastructure. You may also assist in designing the infrastructure for new locations and ensure that everything runs smoothly when the new site is launched.
