Core Responsibilities

  • Directs and oversees a team evaluating compliance, process execution and productivity activities related to Electric Operations which includes; facilitating Operating Self Assessments, productivity and efficiency reviews of construction organizations, on site assessments of work practices, compliance to operational and construction standards and the preparation of various status reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborates with Electric Operations personnel to identify opportunities to assist their organizations in assessing performance and overall effectiveness in execution of work.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and resolve multiple and varied issues.
  • Serves as a champion of organizational change.
  • Creates and communicates vision of teamwork, provides appropriate training and leadership opportunities for employee development and growth to assume additional responsibility.
  • Oversee and facilitate Electric Operations annual CEO Certification review and approval.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant work experience or
  • Associate's Degree and 10 years of relevant work experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • One to three years of experience supervising management, union and/or contractor employees. Required and
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external customers, contractors and various levels of management. Required and
  • Demonstrated strong decisionmaking, organizational, problem solving, analytical and administrative skills with solid teamwork orientation and attention to detail. Required and
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to engage personnel, drive for results managing projects and day to day tasks. Required and
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, be committed to providing exemplary customer service and able to influence positive outcomes. Required and
  • Must have strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Required
  • Must be well organized, demonstrate a high energy level, be innovative, flexible, able to handle multiple assignments and meet stringent deadlines. Required and
  • Must have high regards for personal accountability and understand the critical importance of our commitment to excellence. Required and
  • Strong knowledge of electric operations in the areas of energy services, engineering design specification and construction standards. Preferred

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within and outside Company service territory, as needed.
  • This position will require site visits to various Company locations as well as support during emergencies.
