Mission Statement

Core Responsibilities

  • Supports the management of the pension funds by using various software packages to pay invoices and implement the movement of assets.
  • Learn and provide support for special departmental projects and work systems such as eVestment, Microsoft Direct, It2, custodial and other investmentrelated systems.
  • Provides support for monthly presentations to Investment Committees using excel and powerpoint.
  • Interact with investment managers, trustees, and other third parties to provide efficient and effective services for pension management. Reviews performance and identifies any problems or issues.
  • Learn the strategies of the managers and provide backup for quarterly manager reviews.
  • Aid the department in administrative tasks including Sox Controls and Reviewing Requests for Proposals.
  • Provide support for reconciling manager performance and cash flows to trustee. Provides support to reconcile pension cash account reviewing inflows and outflows.
  • Provide support for developing and reporting the departmental goals, metrics, and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance and/or accounting and One year of work experience Including internships, coops, research experience and other accounting and/or finance related positions

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree Finance and/or accounting and One year of work experience Including internships, coops, research experience and other accounting and/or finance related positions

Relevant Work Experience

  • Effective interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external employees and vendors Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and powerpoint Required
- one-year professional experience, encompassing internships, co-operative education programs, research roles, and other positions in the accounting and finance sectors. Required

  • Demonstrated ability to accept challenges Required

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
