    What You Will Be Doing:


    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Application Development Manager to lead our software development team in creating and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient applications tailored to the needs of our real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build, and construction operations.

    The successful candidate will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance, ensuring that our technology solutions align with business objectives and deliver maximum value to our clients and internal stakeholders.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Team Management:
    Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Java developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Software Development:
    Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications, adhering to best practices and architectural principles. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

    Technology Strategy and Roadmap:
    Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap, evaluate emerging technologies, and stay abreast of industry trends.

    Quality Assurance and Testing:
    Establish robust quality assurance processes to ensure application reliability and performance.

    Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.


    Required Skills & Experience:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


    Proven experience (10+ years) in Java application development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices.

    Strong leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating software development teams.

    Expertise in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git) for project management and collaboration.

    Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.


    Desired Skills & Experience:
    Experience in the real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build, or construction industry is a plus.

    Pay:
    $126,000 - $180,000 /yr.

    We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.

    However, we are not able to provide sponsorship at this time or accept candidates who would require a corp-to-corp agreement.
