    As we continue to expand our impact and reach, we are seeking a dynamic Workforce Development Director with extensive experience in program management, operations, grants management, and reporting to lead our team and drive strategic initiatives that promote workforce readiness and economic empowerment.


    Job Description:


    We are looking for an experienced Workforce Development Director to oversee our workforce development initiatives, manage grants, and drive impactful programs that empower individuals to succeed in the workforce.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic acumen, and a commitment to excellence in program delivery and outcomes.


    Responsibilities:

    Program Management:

    Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development programs and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


    Operational Excellence:

    Oversee day-to-day operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring, to ensure the efficient delivery of services and achievement of program outcomes.


    Grants Management:

    Assist in management of grant funding with Executive Director, including proposal development, grant compliance, reporting, and financial stewardship, ensuring adherence to grant requirements and timelines.


    Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for workforce development initiatives, identifying key priorities, goals, and metrics for success.

    Partnership Development:

    Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with employers, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations to enhance program offerings and support participant success.


    Staff Leadership and Development:

    Provide effective leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of program staff, empowering them to excel in their roles and deliver high-quality services to participants.


    Participant Engagement and Support:

    Ensure that programs and services are responsive to the needs of participants, providing guidance, resources, and support to help them achieve their career goals and overcome barriers to employment.


    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    Monitor program performance through data analysis and evaluation, producing regular reports to assess outcomes, track progress, and inform decision-making.

    Prepare grant reports and documentation for funders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.

    Compliance and Quality Assurance:

    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and uphold high standards of quality and integrity in program delivery.


    Continuous Improvement:

    Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in program design, delivery, and impact, implementing strategies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.


    Advocacy and Outreach:

    Serve as a passionate advocate for workforce development, representing the organization in public forums, stakeholder meetings, and networking events to raise awareness and support for our mission.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workforce development, program management, grants management, or a related field, with a strong track record of success in leadership and operations.
    • Demonstrated expertise in program planning, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and impact.
    • Experience in grants management, including proposal development, grant compliance, reporting, and financial stewardship.
    • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, with a resultsoriented approach to achieving organizational goals and objectives.
    • Knowledge of workforce development principles, best practices, and trends, with a commitment to advancing economic empowerment and social equity.
