Job Description:
As a Regional Sales Manager at Pantalones Organic Tequila & Betty Booze, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and working with distributor sales teams (On & Off Premise) within the assigned markets in the Northeast Region. Leveraging your connections & expertise in the region/markets, you will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales goals (volume, accounts & channel specific qualitative objectives), while maintaining the brand integrity and reputation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the wine and spirits industry (across all 3 tiers), and a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales and distribution targets within the Northeast Region.
2. Sales Execution: Identify, target, and sell into key on and off premise accounts within the Northeast Region
3. Distributor Management: Work closely with Distributor partners to develop and execute sales and distribution programs. Ensure clear performance management quotas and incentives are in place to motivate and drive Distributor partners to deliver high performance.
4. Forecasting and Budgeting: Manage spending vs. budget and develop regional forecasts to ensure timely and accurate information is available for key decision making.
5. Pricing Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement price structures in conjunction with distributor partners that are consistent with the brand's national pricing strategy.
6. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners and key retail accounts to drive sales and brand visibility.
7. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding distribution channels and developing new key accounts.
8. Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating the brand's story, values, and product offerings to customers and stakeholders.
9. Promotional Activities: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities, events, and tastings to drive brand awareness and sales.
10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages within assigned markets in the Northeast Region.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Proven experience in supplier sales management within the wine and spirits industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry, including distribution channels, pricing strategies, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
Ability to travel within the assigned markets Northeast Region as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Diver & iDig
Relevant certifications or training in wine and spirits education (e.g., WSET) is a plus.
