    Your Role

    As a Gensler Marketing Specialist , you bring enthusiasm to the new business pursuit process.

    In this role, you are the key producer of materials to support Gensler's direct business development efforts such as requests for qualifications, proposals, client presentations, and other marketing deliverables, both in print and digital platforms.

    You will succeed because you are skilled with InDesign and PowerPoint and have a strong graphic design ability with a keen eye for layout and organization.


    As a key member of the marketing team, you will have a deep understanding of the architecture and design industry and the practice areas that Gensler works within.

    You will join a team of like-minded creatives with a talent and love for telling stories about the architecture and design industry.

    Self-motivated, detail oriented in all that you do, and strong collaboration skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and graphic sensibility to create effective presentations and marketing collateral
    Passionate about strategy, new business acquisition and client engagement
    Ability to recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler and our portfolio of work, and leverage these into marketing pitches

    What You Will Do

    Workwith Principals, senior design staff, and Marketing Manager to design, write, and produce qualification submittals, proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral to support business development activities that are in alignment with firm brand standards, with a critical emphasis on graphic design capabilities
    Participate and lead pursuit strategy and planning
    Successful experience managing multiple and concurrent project deadlines
    Update and maintain local marketing materials including case studies, team resumes, project details, and photography library
    Lead social media strategy and activity for Denver office
    Assist PR team on the development of local thought leadership and media relations
    Assist Marketing Manager on speaking engagements and local events
    Coordinate, track and report new business activities (Salesforce)
    Work with design teams on awards submittals
    Track and coordinate photography shoots of completed projects

    Your Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field
    10+ years of related professional experience
    Candidate should be comfortable producing presentations and proposals and other marketing collateral, strong background in print/editorial layouts.
    Advanced InDesign skills required; skilled in information design and layout
    Proficient Photoshop / Illustrator skills required
    Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
    Excellent communicator, proactive problem solver, action-oriented team player
    Knowledge of architectural/design industry
    Experienced in the business development proposal process (RFP/RFQ)
    Experienced in the strategy development and implementation of social media activities
    Superior writing skills, including ability to craft a story in a compelling manner
    Strong organization skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines

    Please provide a portfolio of marketing collateral and proposal experience.


    Compensation for this position is based upon experience and the estimated salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.
