- Lead development of plans and specifications for new and renovated fish hatcheries and aquaculture facilities.
- Develop designs meeting industry standards and codes, laws, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through various mediums.
- Analyze and design water supply, drainage, and treatment systems.
- Provide engineering support during construction phases.
- Interact with clients, develop proposals, and manage projects.
- Support marketing initiatives and perform other necessary duties.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering design experience.
- PE license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to our employee-owned culture.
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- NCEES registration.
- Extensive experience in fish hatcheries and aquaculture facilities design.
- Proficiency in biosecurity, bio-programming, and RAS/PRAS.
- Knowledge of hatchery facility construction and maintenance.
- Experience with water resource infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently and within project teams.
