- Use Lexipol's proprietary content management system to publish policy content efficiently and accurately.
- Apply AP and in-house style guidelines rigorously in all editing, proofreading, and publication tasks.
- Ensure content is accessible and formatted correctly.
- Use Microsoft Word to review and manage documents with precision according to workflow requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with Content team members, including program managers, editors, lawyers, and public safety content developers, to gather insights and provide feedback that optimizes the publication workflow and enhances content quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under tight deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracy.
- Train other employees to work within Lexipol's content management platform effectively and troubleshoot technical issues that other users encounter.
- Excellent knowledge of standard English, with proven editing, proofreading, and content testing skills.
- Familiarity with AP style.
- Proficient in content management systems and capable of publishing and testing content within such platforms.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML/XML and CSS, and UX principles for digital content.
- Experience with Wrike, Trello, Confluence, JIRA, or other similar workflow management systems.
- Ability to balance speed with meticulous attention to detail; thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside legal professionals and public safety experts preferred.
- Innately curious, constantly seeking out new knowledge and experiences, with the confidence to experiment with new technology and technical capabilities in support of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Systems, Information Management, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in content production or publication, information systems management, or a related field.
