    Job Description

    This position provides general accounting support and works closely with the growing Finance team. Will assist in ensuring the timely processing of payments and QuickBooks entries and tracking all chargeback revenue.

    Job Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

    § Assist with ensuring timely payments of all non-benefit invoices.

    All non-Benefit invoices: review and ensure accurate charges.

    Investigate all arrears / past due balances.

    § Review invoices for accuracy and completeness.

    § QuickBooks posting of incoming wires and deposits for Money Market & Payroll accounts.

    § Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

    § Assist in processing monthly & quarterly chargebacks to departments (T&E, Float Finder's Fee etc.).

    § Send charge notices to departments (escrow, chargebacks, etc.).

    § Track Salary & Fringe billing and outstanding revenue from PH Lab.

    § Track all pending incoming revenue and follow up as needed.

    § Maintain monthly Revenue Timeline spreadsheet.

    § Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.

    § Maintain Accounting Policy & Procedure manual.

    § Troubleshoot with vendors regarding payments.

    § Enter approved Tuition Payable in QuickBooks.

    § Assist with effective processing of Tuition Assistance reimbursement (as needed).

    § Follow established processes and procedures of the organization.

    § Filing/uploading invoices in QuickBooks in the A/P system, as necessary.

    § Maintain office equipment leasing and purchasing, including troubleshooting.

    § Run QB / Excel reports as needed.

    § Other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills and Education

    A bachelor's degree is required, along with three-plus years of AP/AR work experience. Prior experience as a bookkeeper is preferred.

    The candidate must possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills, a strong knowledge of computers, and a good working knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks.

    Ability to work as part of a team and take directions accurately.

    The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and passionate person who is accountable and detail-oriented.
