Job Description

As the Financial Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing financial operations related to IT programs, projects, and initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, you will create and validate financial ledgers to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines. Your main tasks will involve budgeting, billing, reporting, forecasting, and auditing of expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide financial management operations for IT programs and projects.
Ensure adherence to proper financial practices and guidelines.
Collaborate with senior leadership to validate financial ledgers.
Track financial data for contracts and expenditures.
Assist in funding requirements and expenditure capture.
Participate in expenditure and funding audits.
Generate reports on financial expenditures for senior leadership.
Coordinate budgetary execution plans.
Maintain annual spending plans for the Department.
Manage the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) ledger.
Monitor financial burn rates.
Utilize General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) for procurement management.
Coordinate hardware and software support agreements.
Process annual contract actions.
Develop progress reports and manage organizational tasks.
Obligation and de-obligation process management.
Requirements management within Financial Management Information System (FMIS).
Collaborate with internal and external entities for financial obligations.
Perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

6+ years of financial analyst experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
Knowledge of DHA contract acquisition processes and cybersecurity concepts.
Familiarity with CLIN and WBS structures.
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a DoD environment.
Experience with DMLSS, FMIS, GFEBS, and ServiceNow.
