    Description

    Job Title: Patient Service Specialist

    Company: Center in Hilliard

    Join our team at the front desk and be the advocate for patients entering our center in Hilliard. Manage both the patient side and business side, communicate via email and phone, handle patient payments, and utilize various computer programs. Your role can significantly impact every patient's care experience from the moment they step into the waiting room.

    Schedule:

    • Center Location: Hilliard, OH
    • Type of Employment: Full Time
    • Hours: Monday/Wednesday (8am to 6pm), Tuesday (9am to 4pm), Thursday (8am to 2pm), and Friday (7am to 4pm)
    • Salary: Starting at $15/hour (Pending experience)

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and register patients, provide information about their visit
    • Schedule patient appointments
    • Communicate with various parties such as insurance companies and business development teams
    • Handle patient payments, insurance approvals, and authorizations
    • Provide patients with necessary information for their next appointment
    • Respond to information requests from patients, providers, and colleagues

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Insurance Verification
    • Healthcare background
    • Proficiency in using office equipment and typing at least 40 words per minute

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently
    • Manual dexterity for typing throughout the shift
    • Capability to lift up to 25lbs safely and carry office supplies
    • Good visual acuity and ability to give directions clearly
