    Pumpkin is launching a new product line, and we're looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead its development and growth. This is an incredible opportunity to launch and iterate a true 0-1 product. You will be responsible for the ultimate success of the initiative, constantly iterating and refining strategies through data-driven insights and user feedback, optimizing product performance and user engagement. Collaborating closely with Design and Engineering, your impact will position Pumpkin as the go-to choice for pet owners seeking high-quality pet insurance products

    This will be a hybrid position, with a minimum requirement of 2 days a week in the New York City office.

    What You'll Do:

    • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy for Pumpkin's new product line, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.
    • Utilize data-driven insights and user feedback to continuously iterate and refine product features, enhancing performance and user engagement.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design and Engineering, to translate product vision into actionable plans and deliverables.
    • Champion a customer-centric approach, conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the pet market landscape, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Act as the primary advocate for the product internally and externally, effectively communicating its value proposition and roadmap to stakeholders and customers.
    • Measure and analyze key performance metrics, regularly reporting on product performance and making recommendations for optimization and enhancement.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2C technology forward organizations
    • Demonstrated track record of success in product management roles, with a focus on innovation, growth and user experience.
    • Capable of thinking through cross-functional initiatives to enable successful go-to-market
    • Skilled in crafting a unique and compelling vision, and a path to achieve it
    • Ability to think strategically and translate high-level business objectives into actionable product initiatives
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Proficiency in leveraging metrics, KPIs, and user insights to inform product strategy and measure success.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where teamwork and adaptability are paramount.
    • Genuine passion for animals and a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families. Your dedication to improving the lives of pets and their owners will be at the core of everything you do at Pumpkin.

    Bonus Points:

    • Experience in animal health
    • Experience building a 0-to-1 product
    • Experience scaling a new product to one with high volume

    The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000- $150,000 (annually). Compensation may vary outside the listed range, based on a number of factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, performance, skills, and experience. The compensation range listed is just one component of Pumpkin's total compensation package for employees. Total compensation packages, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short or long-term incentives. If hired, employees will be in an 'at-will position' and Pumpkin reserves the right to modify compensation (as well as any other discretionary payment or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
