    Title: Intern on Social/Distribution team, TheStreet

    Employment Type: Full-time Contractor

    Location: Hybrid--NYC Office

    First Look: Social & Distribution Intern

    TheStreet is seeking an intern for our social/distribution team. We're looking for an ambitious candidate with sound journalistic skills who thrives working in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be able to write quickly and clearly. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.

    In this role, you'll learn the ins and outs of reaching audiences on any platform with articles, videos, photos, and social-first content. In addition to helping develop and create multimedia business news content for today's audience, you'll help us reach millions daily by helping post and manage our presence on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and more. Interested candidates should have a passion for audience development, social media and be a self-starter.

    The Arena Group's expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $20/hour.

    What You'll Do:

    • Schedule and post content on YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and more
    • Work with graphics team to produce images, thumbnails and infographics
    • Pitch compelling ideas and concepts that will attract audience across social
    • A deep understand of digital audiences, traffic sources across search and social, and how to capture those audiences

    What You'll Bring:

    • Currently completing college degree or recently graduated
    • Possesses an understanding of the online media landscape
    • Strong editorial and communication skills
    • Interest in business and market news
    • Comfortable with a fast-paced hybrid newsroom
