    If you love delivering advanced solutions directly to device makers in areas of telematics, smart meters, wearables, industrial monitoring or any other large vertical market focusing on LPWA you would be the perfect addition to an amazing team

    **Location is flexible with advantage to Silicon Valley. Additional locations include any area within proximity to regional airport hub. The right candidate must reside in the U.S. to be considered for this position.**

    **Responsibilities:**

    Industry focus: M2M, LTE, Embedded, Telecom, IOT, Cloud and wearable devices

    Responsible for direct sales of Sony IoT connectivity offering in the NAM Territory. The sales manager will formulate and implement account strategies to maximize sales results in the territory, either directly or through supporting channels partners. General responsibilities include leading sales efforts in direct accounts, prospecting strategic accounts (Participate in leading industry/customer tradeshows and technology conferences), implementing specific account strategies and closing opportunities.

    Connect with C-Level or VP level executives on both the technical and business sides of target customer as well as project/budget owner.

    Share his/her knowledge and advise sales and marketing management on market conditions and Sony's competitors, gather market intelligence, product requirements and distribute within the Company.

    Work with the customer through the project lifetime to bring the opportunity to MP.

    **Minimum Qualifications:**

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a strong technology understanding.

    10+ years experience in Semiconductor sales or business development focused on wireless communications industry.

    Relevant M2M & IoT experience with extensive experience in complex and solution selling

    Solid understanding of LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and other LPWA technologies is an advantage.

    Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

    A "hunter", a self-starter with a will-to-win, Managing a complex, long sales cycle.

    Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, is focused on right opportunities, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.

    Must be able to work effectively without close supervision and function as a member of a team of professionals.

    Must be able to show a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.

    Travel within territory of the time, contingent on COVID travel protocol.

    Must be based in US

    **Preferred Qualification:**

    **MBA strongly preferred.**
