    Description

    Job Description and Duties

    • Under the Chief Information Officer (CIO) direction, the Information Technology Manager (ITM) II is the Chief Information Security Officer of the Information Technology Division (ITD) senior leadership team for the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal).
    • Responsibilities include overseeing the Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance program, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing risks to protect data confidentiality and privacy rights.
    • Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing activities associated with the FI$Cal Enterprise Security Services Office (ESSO), including designing, developing, and implementing information security tools.
    • The position focuses on Information Security Engineering domain but may involve work in other areas as needed.

    Working Conditions

    FI$Cal offers a remote-centered position with telework flexibility for three or more days per week, mandatory office attendance on specific days at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA.

    This role requires the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and may entail overtime. Travel may be necessary.

    Requires prolonged sitting in an office setting, daily use of office equipment, and commitment to a discrimination and harassment-free workplace.
