Located in Ormond Beach, FL, OTH Regensburg is currently seeking a
Research Associate (m/f/d) to join the project
"Strengthening the Resilience of a Rural Region in the Pre-Alpine Area" at the earliest possible date.


Your tasks will include:


  • Conducting research in a publicly funded project on resilience, disaster management, and risk analysis
  • Systematic literature research and analysis
  • Planning, conducting, and processing interviews with practical partners
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with regional and national stakeholders and experts
  • Preparing, conducting, and following up on workshops and simulations
  • Developing manuals and recommendations for action, and contributing to publications
  • Project management

Your profile should include:


  • Completed university degree in a Master's program (university of applied sciences or university) or a diploma program (university) in a social science, natural science, or technical field
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of the Windows operating system and proficiency in common MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and spoken German, and proficient in English
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the country
