- Being able to work 12 hour shifts in each of our 6 AFC/group homes (6 homes are located in Troy and one is in Farmington Hills); Driver's License Required
- Being available to work every other weekend
- Being available to attend our week long, paid mandatory training beginning April 17th or May 1st.
- Representing the facility in a manner that conveys a professional, courteous, caring, and cooperative attitude.
- Direct Care work in Licensed Adult Foster Care Homes that specialize in Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation.
- Experience in PEG Tub feedings, Hoyer transfer, bowel program, personal hygiene, pressure relief preferred, but we can train.
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living and encouraging independent behavior with appropriate interventions on a daily basis.
- Providing care to clients in a manner that considers safety, clients' rights, comfort, and a therapeutic environment.
- Identifying verbal and non-verbal cues for potential aggressive behaviors and uses the necessary intervention to de-escalate the client appropriately
