- Oversee day-to-day business operations.
- Develop strategies to achieve franchise's financial, operational and customer-service and sales goals.
- Identify problem areas and provide solutions to any operational challenges that arise (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Reviews monthly financial statements and implements action plans where deficient.
- Monitor KPI's to identify opportunities for improvement and areas of success.
- Motivate, coach and support team members to ensure goals are being met.
- Oversee recruitment of talent and training of new employees.
- Provide expertise on key customer issues, team staffing and management, store operations and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that business is adhering to brand standards and guidelines set forth by the franchise.
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
- REQUIRED; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field focus.
- REQUIRED; Previous retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
- REQUIRED; 1-2 years of experience managing large teams.
- Affinity and passion for the fitness industry
- Entrepreneurial interest or mind set.
- Highly organized with a strong work ethic.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with excellent deductive reasoning ability and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional and effective manner.

For more than 20 years, we have fulfilled community needs by building a diverse commercial and residential real estate portfolio across the Midwest. Over the years, our portfolio has grown to include hotels, restaurants, mixed-use and market-rate communities, in addition to commercial and retail spaces. GENERAL MANAGER (FITNESS FRANCHISE): Our Franchise General Manager will assume a hands on role in managing one of our potential fitness related franchises planned for Discovery Park here in Columbia.
