- The finance intern could work with Controllership including cost accounting, FP&A and Investor Relations teams and the responsibilities could include:
- Develops financial performance reports and analysis for internal and external reporting
- Provides understanding of financial performance
- Support day-to-day and month-end accounting activities, including the preparation of Journal Entries, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and financial statements and investigation of variances
- Conduct fixed assets and inventory reconciliations between finance books and physical assets to ensure data accuracy in the system.
- Support forecasting/ planning process
- Develop costs estimates; conducts cost/ price analysis
- Perform economic and quantitative analysis: IRR, ROI, risk analysis, etc.
- Partner with IT to propose and implement system solutions to automate daily tasks.
- Prepare and participate in finance meetings
- Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related fields
- Strong presentation and communication skills; candidate should feel comfortable presenting to director level and above
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, statistical analysis, database software)
- Demonstrated interest in business/finance through relevant coursework and experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Office-related demands
