We are looking for an Event Technology Specialist to support our client's developer marketing events team, responsible for conceptualizing / executing high-impact events for NVIDIA partners and users around the world.
The Event Technology Support team member will support NVIDIA's conferences in the US and regionally.
We need a passionate, hard-working and creative person to help us pursue some of the rare opportunities our technology has built.
NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference (GTC), showcases the latest breakthroughs from universities, major enterprises and startups in a wide range of fields such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, robotics, virtual reality and more.
Since its inception in 2009, GTC has been lauded by press and attendees as the most valuable conference in its field.
What you'll be doing:
Event technology support for upwards of 10,000 attendees assisting with system related information and questions.
Work with team to evaluate, test and implement technology providers, including registration, content, exhibitor, housing, mobile app and onsite services for accuracy and functionality.
Identify and implement ongoing improvements on existing system processes and procedures.Customize and produce reports as needed to communicate information to internal stakeholders.
Work cross functionally with operations, creative services, technical and marketing teams to ensure success.
Assist with logistics including service requirements, onsite set up and tear down, and post-show satisfaction surveys and reports.
What we need to see:
Creative and dedicated individual with 2+ years of corporate experience, preferably in the PC, high tech or gaming industry.
Technical understanding and experience with systems and apps.
A balance of technical savvy, creativity and effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, detailed oriented and organized while meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
Ability to work independently and follow process with minimal supervision.
Available to travel for week-long periods and stand/walk for long periods of time and lift heavy boxes (30+ lbs.).
BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
