- Enhance the quality of hair, skin, and eye materials on existing character assets.
- Incorporate diverse hair assets into our demo environment for testing and prototyping.
- Develop prototypes of hair rendering techniques, such as converting hair strands to hair cards.
- Create anatomically detailed eye and eyelash geometry assets, including textures.
- Import Avatar animations into our real-time development environment, O3DE.
- Establish rendering comparisons between real-time and offline avatar rendering setups.
- Improve the visual appeal of avatar rendering demos.
- Create or enhance animation sequences.
- 3+ years of professional experience working in a character content production environment.
- Proficiency with Blender.
- Proficiency in a scripting language, like Python or C#.
- Experience importing and setting up assets in O3DE, or comparable, like Unity or Unreal.
- Knowledge of rendering performance optimization techniques.
- Professional experience communicating verbally and in writing in a multi-disciplinary team, including engineers, scientists, and technical artists.
- Experience in creating and improving materials for hair, skin, and eyes.
- Experience in importing assets from Blender into runtime engines for testing.
- Experience in O3DE real-time engine.
- Experience with Houdini, Maya, Substance Painter.
- LUA coding experience.

We are seeking a 3D Technical Artist with a passion for creating high-quality avatar content for avatar rendering prototype experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of AR/VR pioneers and contribute to the development of cutting-edge rendering technology. Our client, a leading Fortune 500 company in the technology industry, is looking for an experienced 3D Technical Artist to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing avatar materials, creating rendering prototypes, and improving demo experiences.
