RUN Studios has a full-time opportunity for a tech savvy, solution-oriented individual. We are seeking a driven Stages Technical Support II team member to join our stages team as we assist our client, a leader in the video production industry located in Redmond, WA.

    Video production is an integral part of our client's marketing and communication strategy, and you will be front and center in supporting those productions. This role is focused on managing several stages and control rooms to ensure they are production ready and operates as a technical resource for teams across the production process.
    For consideration, applicants must be available to work on site in Redmond, WA. As Stages Technical Support II, You Will
    • Maintain all stages and control rooms to keep them production ready including but not limited to:
      • Running regular tests and updates of stage and control room capabilities.
      • Updating documentation when workflows or inventory change.
      • Troubleshooting equipment failures such as lighting connectivity and power distribution.
      • Restocking equipment and supplies.
    • Participate in scoping and pre-production meetings, advising producers and clients and advocating for the workflows, capabilities, production planning, and techniques that best meet their needs and can be executed successfully.
    • Maintain evergreen knowledge of equipment, facility and stage capabilities, and crewing needs.
    • Instruct guidance and best practices to external crew.
    • Fill production roles and tasks: lighting setup, lighting console operation, camera operation, mic up talent, teleprompter operation, live switching.
    • Understand the needs for post-production to help guide decision making.
    As an Applicant, You Bring
    • 2-4 years working in a production environment; proficient in cameras, lighting, and audio.
    • An obsession with punctuality and a positive can-do attitude.
    • A habit of raising standards (for yourself and those around you) and an effort to improve daily.
    • Proactive and confident problem-solving skills.
    • A calm demeanor and flexibility in fast paced environments.
    • An awareness of current techniques, production equipment, and tools (and an interest in what's next).
    • Knowledge of remote capture via programs like Teams, Zoom, etc.
    • Proficient signal flow knowledge, audio/video routing knowledge.
    • Experience with remote productions; Teams, KVM, and NDI.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
    Bonus if You Have
    • Tricaster or Grass Valley switcher experience.
    • Virtual Production experience (Greenscreen/LED).
    • Environment Artist experience in Unreal Engine 5.
    • Grand MA lighting console experience.

CompensationPay Range: $67,724 - $69,524 (Annually) The successful candidate's pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
