    Compliance Manager

    Sunnyvale, CA 94089

    SUMMARY:

    • The Protector: Enhancing the company's ability to grow and prosper by formalizing and continuously improving compliance and risk management practices, keeping the company out of harm's way by avoiding or mitigating loss.

    RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Manage the subcontractor onboarding workflow
    • Manage the successful rollout of PRB's prequalification process
    • Educate PRB team on general and specific compliance risks and provide guidance on vendor selection
    • Identify subcontractors that are unreliable or under financial performance stress
    • Improve turnaround time of MSA reviews and negotiations
    • Manage MSA negotiations and executions
    • Collaborate with PX/PM and Accounting Teams to address onboarding/compliance issues and areas of concern
    • Review and score subcontractors in prequalification system (Tradetapp)
    • Manage subcontractor insurance compliance onboarding and updates in myCOI
    • Provide information for annual insurance audit.
    • Manage annual compliance audit
    • Willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in commercial insurance and construction industry

    Compliance

    • Maintain Vendor W9's on file and for year-end
    • Manage subcontractor licenses via CSLB website
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of vendor compliance
    • Ensure vendors are properly insured and are compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements
    • Ad-hoc compliance reporting

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience & Skills

    • Proficiency in project accounting platforms (Paperless, Sage 300 CRE, Greenlight)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel Power User)
    • Attention to detail, communication skills, excellent organization, ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications & programs
    • Strong knowledge of subcontractor insurance and compliance requirements
    • 3+ years of experience in compliance management within the construction industry
