    We are seeking a

    Deputy Program Manager

    to join our team and support our clients in the

    Washington DC-Baltimore

    region.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    :

    The Deputy PM will manage the day-to-day operational activities.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for all relevant program oversight, resource management, risk management, service delivery, and customer relationship management of large IT environments.

    Assist the PM with managing and supervising other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization.

    Present findings to stakeholders and executive management
    Training and supervising new employees and measuring staff performance.
    Implement innovative approaches to fulfilling requirements to improve services or cut costs through current technologies.
    Required Work Experience:

    The candidate must have at least 10 years of experience managing large, complex IT

    projects/operations.
    Experience managing and supervising employees.
    Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness and compliance with industry best practices.
    Desired Work Experience:


    Experience translating contract requirements into project plans and milestones, directing, and implementing plans; and presenting formal project status/plan briefings to Government managers.

    Experience working in the CMS acquisition environment and CMS Technical Reference Architecture
    Job Skills

    :

    Strong understanding of government contracting and procurement, processes, stakeholders, and professional services.
    Enthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with great listening skills and high integrity
    Ability to teach, grow and coach a team.
    Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage programs supporting multiple businesses.
    Ability to think innovatively, act strategically and proactively approach issues.
    Able to work under pressure and to be flexible with changing priorities.
    A genuine interest in looking for opportunities to add value and grow your area of responsibility.
    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline required.
    Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

    :

    Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PMgP) or equivalent Government certification required
    Communication Skills

    :

    Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required, with experience briefing executive personnel, managerial and technical staff.
    Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
    Travel:


    This is a remote position, with a potential need to travel to the greater Washington DC-Baltimore region for customer meetings.

    Environmental Requirements

    :

    Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
    May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
    Flexible in working extended hours.
