Job Description

Our client, a major utility company, is looking for a Customer Support professional to assist with customer account inquiries in the Metro Detroit area.

This is a long-term contract position with a starting pay rate of $19.00/hour (benefits are available).

This position will work a hybrid schedule which will require the selected candidate to come to the office up to 3 days/week.

Selected candidate will be responsible for:

Accessing multiple internal and external systems to thoroughly investigate damage claims

Working with tools such as Microsoft Office products (including MS Teams), Power Bi, and Databricks

Making outbound calls to follow up with customers and other internal business units regarding claim statuses

May help train entry level customer service specialists or handle other duties as requested

Qualifications

This position requires strong analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking, technical and customer service skills. Some of the tools required are all Microsoft products, Power Bi, Databricks and Teams

HS diploma or equivalent- Required

High level of professionalism with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external customers- Required

2-year minimum experience- Required

Ability to comprehend varied research information- Required

Ability to understand service systems and legal compliance regulations- Required

Good analytical ability- Required

Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM- Preferred
