This position will serve as a primary liaison between a key client and the customs brokerage operations team.
This position will be client facing with responsibilities included but not limited to direct client interface, service problem resolution, high level reporting and QBR participation.
The role will have a dual responsibility to perform import related functions on behalf of the client and customs brokerage as well as monitor compliance activity and reporting.
This position will have responsibilities for executing and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and exceptional customer service while seamlessly supporting the CHB Client Program Manager, Customs Brokerage Operational Teams, and the Client's inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Support continuous improvement objectives by monitoring entries that need to be expedited, those on hold, or exceptions and proactively communicating and providing support on any issues or concerns with the brokerage operational team and client.
Analyze performance metrics as required by the client.Participate in client onboarding as directed in conjunction with team as directed.
Coordinating, contributing to, and participating in quarterly (QBR) meetings between the CHB Program Manager, client's executive staff and customs operational team.
Support IT RequestsProvide reporting needs to clients via Maersk Customs Navigator and/or interface with IT when customs programming needs arise.
Must become very familiar with the data elements and reporting functions within Maersk Customs Navigator.Collaborate with the CHB Client Program to ensure tasks such as inbound shipment tracking, entry tracking and client reporting is maintained and assist with these tasks as needed to ensure no support disruptions to the client.
Lead in conjunction with the CHB Client Program Manager with any other import/reporting-related responsibilities that may be required to fully support clients, whereby professional expertise and knowledge is required.
Creating and Updating Standard Operating Procedures.Identify vendor issues and work with the client/vendor towards resolution.
Stay up to date with Customs Regulations and requirements.
Required experience & skills:
Minimum 5 years' industry experience in Customs Brokerage OperationsCustoms Broker's license preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft tools:
Advanced Excel knowledge required.
Advanced PowerPoint knowledge required.
Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment as well as work independently with day-to-day responsibilities.

The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
