Position Description


Sales support associate for a major marketer _(30-year company) _and distributor of personal care, beauty and household goods to national retailers.

The position will report to the Director of Sales Operations and will assist in all aspects of our business process.

This includes consistent sales fulfillment execution, order entry, allocating product for fulfillment, facilitating efficient and effective communication amongst the internal team and customers, and overall responsible for ensuring seamless execution and fulfillment.


Responsibilities

  • Aid in all facets of sales operations, including order preparation and proactive communication with customers.
  • Handle sales order entry and collaborate closely with internal operations team for streamlined processes.
  • Foster strong rapport with customers' buying assistants and vendor relations teams to optimize partnerships.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather relevant data and insights, supporting the Director of Sales Operations in developing strategies to enhance sales performance and drive business growth.
  • Proactively follow up to the Director of Sales Operations, ensuring all necessary information is communicated promptly to facilitate decisionmaking and problemsolving processes.
  • Act as a liaison between the Director of Sales Operations, the internal Operations Team, and our customers to facilitate smooth communication and ensure timely responses of solutions to drive company growth and strengthen partnerships.

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs _*required_
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4year college or university OR associates degree in retail, business, accounting or related field _*required_
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills _*required_
  • Background in executive assisting, buying, business, sales or related field _*strongly recommended_

Pay:
From $62,000.00 per year
