A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE


As an Inside Sales Representative, you have the vital role of handling the day-to-day account management that ensures successful customer orders.

Primarily, you provide quotes that customers request, process customer purchase orders, and respond to any other customer needs.

Working with internal and external company resources, you prepare quotes, fulfill orders, ensure on-time delivery, and respond to client issues.

To provide accurate quotes, you review the order's pricing, quote terms, and delivery. You maintain orders by managing the backlog and open order reports in our system and customer portals. With your excellent account management, you conscientiously track, review, and follow up on the quote log and open orders.

Highly collaborative, you function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers. You assist the sales team by responding to, processing, and documenting requests for quotes (RFQs). You also assist the field sales team with business development.
You enjoy providing amazing customer service while offering account management for both new and existing customer accounts

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Microsoft Excel
