Description
As a Purchasing Buyer, you will be responsible for placing purchase orders, negotiating prices with vendors/suppliers, tracking vendor delivery schedules for delivery, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the accuracy of order fulfillment.
The role has a strong focus on communication, business sales cycle, and attention to detail.Job Description:
- Place purchases order and product fulfillment with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Process and send purchase orders and invoices to key parties.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors on better product pricing.
- Run and analyze adhoc reports.
- Ensure customer's requests are processed correctly such as: product details, increase quantity, decrease quantity, multiple split orders, customer requirements, shipping locations, etc.
- Communicate with customers/buyers/sales team regarding order details and status, customer guidelines, updates, delays, and shipping.
Experience:
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to details and high organized
- Experience in a fast paced and multitasking environment
Plus Experience:
- Prior knowledge in IT or Audio Visual (AV) products and software
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Quosal, Microsoft GP, etc.
