    Nursing Simulation Laboratory Coordinator

    The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing undergraduate program at Penn State Altoona invites applications for a full-time Simulation Laboratory Coordinator.

    Job Duties

    ·Coordinate operational activities in the nursing simulation laboratory

    ·Assist faculty in planning simulation experiences.

    ·Provide students with guidance and instruction during laboratory activities under the supervision of faculty.

    ·Program and operate patient simulators and cameras during simulation laboratory experiences.

    ·Prepare (set up/take down) simulation equipment.

    ·Provide technical assistance and support to faculty, instructors and staff who teach in the simulation laboratory.

    ·Coordinate equipment, supplies and labware purchases, ordering, inventory, maintenance, repair and storage.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    ·Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing.

    ·Recent clinical experience preferred.

    ·Employment with the University will require the successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
