    Job Description Summary

    The Hotel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive revenue, enhance brand visibility, and maximize occupancy for the hotel. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can collaborate with various departments to create and implement effective marketing campaigns.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
    • Create and execute annual marketing plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
    • Identify target markets and customer segments, tailoring marketing strategies accordingly.
    • Utilize a mix of online and offline channels, including social media, email marketing, , partnerships, and traditional advertising.
    Brand Management:
    • Maintain and enhance the hotel's brand image and positioning.
    • Develop brand collateral, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels.
    • Monitor and respond to online reviews to maintain a positive online reputation.
    • Utilize and implement brand guidelines and standards for Sonesta Hotels and Resorts
    Digital Marketing:
    • Oversee the hotel's online presence, including the website and social media channels.
    • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Analyze performance metrics and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
    • Present KPI's to DOSM and GM for all initiatives
    Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and events, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing.
    • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors.
    Event Marketing:
    • Plan and execute promotional events to attract local and international guests.
    • Be present for hotel activations to help drive social media followers and ensure event success
    • Budget Management:
    • Work with DOSM in developing and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a positive return on investment.
    • Monitor expenses and track campaign performance against budget.
    Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
    • Implement and manage a CRM system to track customer interactions and preferences.
    • Utilize CRM data to personalize marketing campaigns and improve customer engagement.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in hotel marketing or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and online booking platforms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
    The Hotel Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in driving the hotel's success by increasing brand awareness, attracting guests, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
