    Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include, but are not limited to:

    • Sourcing products
    • Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
    • Checking availability of stock
    • Inventory control -- setting reorder points and reorder quantities
    • Placing and expediting purchase orders for stock and non-stock items per SOPs
    • Maintenance of items in inventory management system
    • Monitor quality and delivery performance of suppliers
    • Complete and Monitor reports including inventory, procurement, and supplier performance metrics
    • Participate in Special Projects as directed, to include process improvement teams
    • Other duties as assigned by manager

    Qualifications of the Procurement Specialist include, but are not limited to:

    • 2 years of MRO product experience
    • 2 years purchasing experience
    • Inventory Management
    • Good analytical and math skills
    • Proficiency with computers, specifically Microsoft Office Suite: Word and Excel
    • Prophet 21 experience preferred
    • CPM Certification preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High level of customer service skills
    • Able to multi-task and work independently

    Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
