Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Your expertise in quality management, supplier management, and contract negotiation will be crucial in optimizing our procurement operations.


Duties:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives
• Source and procure goods and services from qualified suppliers
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
• Implement category management strategies to drive cost savings and improve efficiency
• Oversee the contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
• Familiarity with quality management systems in procurement
• Demonstrated ability to source and evaluate suppliers effectively
• Proficiency in contract management and negotiation
• Knowledge of federal regulations related to procurement (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulations)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay:
$100, $120,000.00 per year
