    Position Description:

    We are looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead to head a dynamic team for an exciting upcoming project.

    As the Technical Lead, you will steer the technical direction of a new financial services trading platform.

    Leading a team of 7 Full Stack Engineers, you will supervise the development process and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable and robust applications on AWS infrastructure.

    As the team leader, you should be highly skilled in developing user-friendly, customer-focused APIs and features that drive web and mobile online platforms.

    You will play a key role in designing and creating reusable APIs focused on enhancing customer experience. Additionally, you will participate in building responsive user interfaces that connect with backend services. You will contribute to the entire development lifecycle from inception to deployment as part of an agile, multi-functional team.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers throughout the software development lifecycle. Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
    • Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and align with the overall Architecture.
    • Design, develop, and test highly scalable Web and API services that support both web and mobile platforms.
    • Lead the development of both frontend and backend components of the application using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure the reliability and availability of the application in production environments.
    • Understand the leadership vision and implement it. Foster a culture of innovation by setting examples.
    • Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
    • Cultivate a culture of best-in-class software engineering practices
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and ensure a high level of integrity in the team.
    • Take ownership and accountability for determining actions required for success.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Over 15 years of hands-on experience in developing Web services and API solutions using various Java-based frameworks.
    • Minimum 3 years of proven development experience in frameworks like Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, VueJS, and Typescript.
    • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
    • Skilled in building Web User Interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, and REST APIs.
    • Experience in Domain Driven Design and developing Microservices
    • Proficient in documenting APIs with Swagger and testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test, Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor
    • Understanding of Design patterns, 12-factor design principles, and experience in DevOps processes.
    • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-based solutions, and container management services.
    • Experience in developing enterprise cloud-based solutions using Amazon Cloud Computing Services, and deploying container managed services using Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

    • Excellent communication skills to convey software engineering and development concepts effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Teamwork skills to collaborate with other engineers, including distributed team members.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to all development aspects

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

    This role is based in Raleigh, NC, or Boston, MA.
