    As a part of the Regulatory Business Controls team, the Business Control Manager within Retail Business Enablement & Controls focuses on providing regulatory support and internal control discipline for Lending products, particularly Mortgage Lending. Key responsibilities include overseeing compliance with regulations such as Fair Lending, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), supporting exams, audits, and regulatory reporting. The role involves influencing management across levels and guiding front line units. Successful candidates typically possess over 5 years of risk management experience.

    • Monitor and enforce control environment to ensure compliance with regulations
    • Offer regulatory expertise for assessments, impact analysis, and policy changes
    • Engage in process changes to drive compliant outcomes
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders including Global Compliance and Legal partners
    • Identify control improvements and support audit activities
    • Assess compliance against regulatory requirements and enterprise policies
    • Coordinate end-to-end process engagement
    • Champion a culture of risk awareness
    Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in lending regulations and processes
    • Strategic thinking and tactical execution ability
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Effective communication skills
    • Proactive with problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage data sensitively and maintain confidentiality
    Desired Qualifications:
    • 8+ years in risk management or business control
    • Expertise in mortgage lending regulations like HMDA, ECOA, and Fair Lending
    • Experience in process improvement and data analysis
    • Proficient in root cause analysis and working with auditors
