    Tax Accountant - CPA

    Base Salary + Bonus Structure

    Newark, DE

    Full-Time – On-Site

    Our Financial Services client in the Newark area is rapidly growing and looking to add a qualified Public Tax Accountant to their team

    This is a unique opportunity for the ideal candidate to bring an entrepreneurial spirit and an excitement to work with leadership in delivering expanded services to existing and new clients

    This position offers the opportunity for an Associate to develop, implement and monitor a client's individual tax return. Success in this role is based on the ability to serve the current client base while adding new clients and contributing the overall growth of the company.

    Characteristics of an Accountant Candidate
  • Bachelor of Accounting Degree
  • Detail & Task Oriented
  • Demonstrate success working in a team environment
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Self-Starter and quick to learn
  • Enrolled or be willing to enroll in CPA programKey Responsibilities
  • Prepare Simple Individual Tax Returns
  • Responsible for building a new client base while maintaining existing clients
  • Develop bookkeeping responsibilities for internal Business Owner Clients
  • Daily meeting with Advisors to help serve their clients
  • Weekly meetings with Financial Planning Resource Center to help serve as a resource to their clients
  • Monthly meetings with ManagementCompensation & Benefits
