Description

• Prepare accurate and timely personal and business tax returns
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Prepare tax documents, including quarterly payments, extensions and sales tax returns
• Recommend new strategies based on new taxation laws on the local, state or federal level
• Researching tax laws and regulations
• Aiding during tax audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Responding to notices from tax authorities
• Report analysis and findings to management team
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets

Additionally, we are seeking individuals who have polished negotiation, organizational, time-management, research and communication skills, proven ability to think pro-actively, handle pressure and deadlines, self-directed work capabilities, and manage several ongoing projects at one time.

While traditional accounting firms have grueling work schedules, we limit our hours during tax season (January through April) and provide 4-day workweeks during the offseason (May through December).

We provide regular training sessions to develop tax and accounting skills and team outings so that you're able to connect with colleagues.
