- Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific AI/ML principles and concepts to develop new technology, process, and product specifications.
- Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories and contributes to scientific literature and conferences.

- Advanced degree required - PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical or Electrical engineering plus a minimum of five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to independently analyze and interpret complex data sets for the development of novel AI powered solution
- Knowledge and experience in developing machine learning and/or deep learning models using time-series data.
- Experience in developing predictive and prescriptive analytics using a multimodal data and a broad spectrum of algorithm architectures (decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis, SVM, DNN, LSTM, transformers) and efficient use of data (semi-supervised learning, transfer learning, etc).
- Experience developing Deep Learning models using biosignals.
- Familiarity with data processing pipelines including cloud storage and compute infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Proficiency in Python, R, and/or MATLAB.
- Well versed in statistics and theoretical foundations of Machine Learning.
- Team player with good communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
- Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
