    Summary:


    CALM is looking for a driven and dedicated Santa Maria based Home Visitation Program Manager (PM).

    The Home Visitation Program Manager (PM) holds a crucial role in leading and managing CALM's home visitation and parent education and support programs across Santa Barbara County.

    Responsible for overseeing all operational activities, the PM ensures the delivery of high-quality services to our diverse community.

    This involves guaranteeing that all activities and services comply with program and contractual requirements and are grounded in evidence-based models and parenting curricula such as Healthy Families America (HFA) and Partners for a Healthy Baby.

    Additionally, the PM provides supervision and guidance to the county-wide team of home visitors, promoting activities that prioritize trauma-informed care, cultural responsiveness, and alignment with CALM's mission and vision.


    How you will make an impact:


    • Develop, implement, and oversee home visitation programs aimed at providing support and guidance to families.
    • Oversee, train, and develop CALM's parenting and support education curricula.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure program effectiveness and adherence to protocols.
    • Provide ongoing support and supervision to home visitors, including regular meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
    • Implement HFA best practice standards and remain current on HFA practices to ensure model fidelity.
    • Identify and support outreach efforts and develop strategies to reach underserved populations.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with program requirements and regulations.
    • Monitor program activities, outcomes, and data to maintain HFA accreditation.
    • Complete reports timely as required by HFA and other contractual obligations.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in home visitation services.
    • Monitor program outcomes and support program evaluation efforts to guide continuous quality improvement.
    • Maintain oversight of program expenditures to ensure costs are within the approved budget, and inform necessary budgetary changes, modifications, and priorities.
    • Coordinate with community partners and agencies to identify families in need of services and facilitate referrals.
    • Support staff in referring participants needing more intensive follow-up to appropriate programs internally and externally.
    • Attend community meetings, events, health fairs, and represent CALM as needed/requested.
    • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate change, success, and sustainability of CALM's home visitation and parenting and education programs.
    • May provide direct services as needed.
    • Serve on CALM's Leadership Team and attend monthly meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned that pertain to the position.

    Compensation:

    CALM offers a 10% compensation increase upon licensure.

    CALM offers a $1-3/hour bilingual stipend to employees that use a second language.

    This is an exempt position with a salary range of $79,000-$114,000/year plus a $2,080 bilingual stipend (if full-time).

    The salary range provided denotes the minimum and maximum rates applicable to the position.

    Factors influencing the placement of newly hired employees within this range include their specific skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and comparison with existing employees in similar roles.

    Typically, newly hired employees are positioned below the midpoint of the salary range.

    Requirements


    Role requirements:


    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in program management, preferably in the field of home visitation or family support services.
    • Must have a valid California driver's license, clean DMV record and criminal record clearance from the DOJ.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Comfortable providing constructive feedback to staff
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and demonstrated ability to develop & maintain productive relationships across employee groups.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
