Description

This individual will be responsible for many aspects of laboratory work, including client relations, quality control, inventory, budget and marketing.

• Work independently to utilize cultural and rapid methodologies (realtime PCR, etc.) to identify pathogens, indicators, and spoilage organisms in food, water, and environmental samples
• Proactively managing the laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to PrimusLabs protocols and values
• Interacting with clients by communicating test results, answering questions, and sending sampling supplies based on their needs
• Developing, maintaining, and measuring processes to increase the accuracy of turnaroundtime for results
• Ensuring implementation of QA/QC program with regards to all operations and documentation requirements
• Provide training to new personnel, as well as coaching and mentoring to facilitate the staff's professional and personal growth
• On occasion, travel to satellite laboratories to assist with laboratory coverage and supplemental trainings
